  • Guyangil Park

Guyangil Park in Australia Ave Umina Beach is located next to the Child Care Centre.

Federal Grant Funding allowed the GUST team to transform this derelict play space into a native garden of trees and shrubs. It has become a space where young children can meander through and enliven their senses. Plants were chosen for smell, colour, feel and visual delight. Nature play equipment was installed by our Council.

The Child Care Centre regularly takes the students into the park to connect with nature. The GUST team has celebrated National Tree Day by engaging children and families in planting activities to provide an educational experience.
